Emily wins national creative writing prize

2016 ended on a high for one Chaigeley pupil in particular when she won a national creative writing competition. Emily Royle beat off competition from hundreds of other hopefuls across the country when she was awarded the Engage National Award for Creative writing in the Key Stage 4 pupil category for her story focusing on and alien encounter.

Emily couldn’t believe her story was chosen as the winner and was justifiably proud of her achievement.

Well done Emily.
