It was another great year for ‘Superstars’ at Chaigeley School. We had seven new records set across the tournament, with Connor Pook and Callum Cragg out-doing themselves in order to out-do each other. They really did give the best of themselves to break seven records between them. Six pupils were awarded ‘Outstanding Contribution’ trophies for their efforts throughout the day. These awards are presented for a combination of sporting achievement, effort, participation, team spirit and supporting other competitors. All of our winners should be very proud of their achievements.
The highlight of the day for most may well have been the remarkable participation in our new event; the ‘Springboard High Jump’. All our competitors represented their House Teams spectacularly, with some marvellous flips and tricks on display. The spectators thoroughly enjoyed themselves too!
The competition was the closest it has ever been, with nothing separating Joshua and Brownlee. At the end of the day, Superstars was a draw for the first time in its history!
A massive thank you to everyone involved for a brilliant tournament and a fabulous day!
