Superstars 2018 was another roaring success for Chaigeley School. On a freezing February day we all warmed ourselves up and wore ourselves out for our end of term sporting competition. Held annually, Superstars allows us all to participate, in our house teams, in a variety of sporting trials for the honour of being called champions! This year, as always, everyone who participated (staff and pupils alike) made a fabulous effort on behalf of themselves and their team-mates.
In the team competition ‘Team Joshua’ took the title this year, powerful and committed, they showed great determination to do so. We had a total of nine pupil record breakers, who were all rewarded for their persistence and hard work. We also recognised the outstanding contributions of two pupils from each house team. These pupils had gone ‘above and beyond’ in their efforts to succeed and in their generous support of others. These trophy winners were Conner Crawley and Ben Young (Team Froome), Finnley Catterall, David Smith and Kurtis Chesman (Team Brownlee).
It was fantastic not only to see everyone succeeding so well, but to also see you all enjoying yourselves so much, well done.
